Executive Committees
Presidents, vice-presidents, chairs, and co-chairs are selected for a three-year term. There is a term limit of a maximum of two consecutive terms for each position. At the end of the second term, the position must be re-assigned through election by the FIRA Executive Committee and FIRA Chapters Assembly, and the previous holder must take a one year break from that position.

FIRA Regional Chapters
A sufficiently large number of teams, researchers and teachers from any nation, group of nations, or nation-sized region (henceforth “region”) with significant past and current FIRA participation is invited to form a “FIRA Regional Chapters.”
The purposes of Regional chapters are to
1. Act as communication link between FIRA participants in their region and FIRA Executive Committee. This includes distributing information from FIRA Executive Committee to the FIRA participants in their area of influence as well as bringing concerns and issues in their area to the attention of the FIRA Executive Committee,
2. Promote FIRA and its associated events in their area,
3. Support existing participants and recruit new ones,
4. Organize local FIRA events in their region
5. Select teams for participation at the FIRA Robot World Cup,
6. Deal with organizational matters (e.g., travel, registration, payment of fees, and accommodation) for the participants from their region)
7. Maintain an English website to be linked to the main FIRA website describing the FIRA activities in your region.
