Objectives
One of FIRA’s significant missions from 1996 to the present day is holding annual events in various sectors such as international scientific and educational robotics and artificial intelligence global conferences such as “FIRA RoboWorld Cup and Summit” and “FIRA RoboWorld Cup Open,” which are held every year in one of the member countries with the aim of encouraging the younger generation and industry to focus more on robotics and artificial intelligence. However, in the new approach, the federation is seeking to expand its focus on the industrial and service sectors, especially in the global value chains, in addition to sport, and to increase the domain and penetration rate of technology in the global product portfolio and industries.
- To take the spirit of science and technology to the young generation, especially the talented youth of the host country
- To create the largest database of the needs and capabilities of companies active in robotics and artificial intelligence domain as a basis for identifying investment opportunities, guiding startups and developing related promotion programs
- To establish a sustainable and organic connection between the regional office with the world’s leading industrial and technology companies and capable startups worldwide
- To link the robotics and AI scientists and researchers from countries, which will result in improving the national brand and uplifting the host nation’s status in the global ranking
- To discover unknown ideas and talents, and to fortify the scientific structure of the human resources by educating, cooperating and engaging them in relevant projects and events
- To identify manufacturing and business questions in global value chains and opportunities and areas for improvement in various industrial and educational sectors in order to increase the penetration rate of robotics and artificial intelligence in products and services
- To identify, introduce and support young startups affiliated to robotics and artificial intelligence
- To identify and select valuable projects in order to attract investors to participate in these projects, by holding events affiliated with robotic technology and artificial intelligence;
- To promote and develop an automated and robotic unit system in order to advance technology in robotics and artificial intelligence
- To create synergies between expert researchers and talented students in the areas of robotics, intelligent control, communication, image processing, mechatronics, computer technology, and intelligence
- To hold worldwide Robotics and artificial intelligence courses in interdisciplinary and state-of-the-art leagues (including World Championships, Specific Conferences, B2B and B2C meetings, Training Courses, and Organizing Specialized exhibitions in different countries)
- To hold annual scientific and research meetings in order to exchange the latest experiences and achievements of world knowledge in this field
- To communicate through dialogue and networking at national and international, corporate and business levels, and achieve products in the field of robotics and artificial intelligence
- To expand the penetration and relevance of new technologies in the domestic industries with the aim of improving the quality and competitiveness of the products of the domestic export companies and diversifying the export basket of the member countries
